On my birthday, we all piled in Francesco's truck and went to the beach at Lahaina-and Rose and I got to try surfing. Sitting out in the warm water, watching the waves coming, soaking in the moment, the sun set, good friends, finally some fresh ahi enchiladas, and a chilling ride home with a clear starry sky above- very nice.
and a surprise birthday cake when I got home- chocolate raspberry, all organic goodness!
