We decided to head for the big town- Lahaina! After visiting the Maui Brewing Company, we headed for the Westin resort villas. We wandered around inside, checked the pool, went to the beach, then asked to see a room but the displays were closed. That's when we realized that it was villas and not a hotel. oops.

So we went onward into town. We parked, and heard drums and excitement, so we headed for the music. It stopped and we noticed a horde of tourists, all wearing wreaths of flowers streaming out of a pavilion. Rose lead the way and we charged against the flow, and inside found the party over. I grabbed some flowers and we donned our disguises, and lo and behold, discovered plates of leftover desserts galore! We should take our picture, I said, and then a man in palm leaves offered to do so. "Why not in front of Tiki?" he asked, and we the happy tourists obliged.

on the other side of the luao, we found more desserts and nice juices. Cheers, mates! To our double honeymoon!

Then on into town for some dinner, still in our disguises. I could tell we were earning respect everywhere we went. Look at this guy- in hawaii, yeah, pina colada, hula, yeah.
